  • Grew up in Gonzales, Texas
  • Holds 2 degrees from Texas A & M University; one in  English and a 2nd with a double major of Political Science and History
  • Earned his doctorate of jurisprudence from Baylor Law School
  • Teaches advanced estate planning at St. Mary’s University School of Law
  • Member of the 2005 Leadership Lab class of the North San Antonio Chamber
  • Named the Outstanding Attorney for Estate Planning by the San Antonio Business Journal in 2011
  • Married to Lori; dad to Colton, Phoebe and Wyatt
  • Worships at Wayside Chapel

On the lighter side:

  • Knows all about raising chickens (80,000 at a time) and cattle
  • Loves to ride his horses, Arwen and Soleil
  • Enjoys hunting with his kids and German Short-haired Pointer, Star
  • Can’t get enough of the view off the top of Guadalupe Peak
  • Yes, the mustache is real and he’s been growing it since 1992
